Scope of national rule
This Ordinance determines the efficiency requirements applicable to new hot-water boilers fired by liquid or gaseous fuels with a rated output of no less than 4 kW and no more than 400 kW.
Main requirements that the business user needs to know about
Commission Regulation (EU) No 813/2013 of 2 August 2013 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for space heaters and combination heaters repealed Council Directive 92/42/EEC, except for Articles 7(2) and 8 thereof and Annexes III to V thereto, without prejudice to the obligations of the Member States relating to the transposition into national law and application of that Directive until the ecodesign requirements set out in Annex II of this Regulation start to apply. Article 7, paragraph 3 of the Ordinance, Article 8 of the Ordinance and Annexes III are in force. to V. of the Ordinance.
National rule
- The implementation of conformity assessment procedures in accordance with the requirements of this Ordinance may be performed by conformity assessment bodies on the basis of a decision of the Minister responsible for the economy if they are qualified in accordance with the requirements of Annex V to the Ordinance. The manufacturer or his authorized representative in the Republic of Croatia must affix the conformity marking (CE marking) to each appliance and issue a written Declaration of Conformity. The manufacturer or his authorized representative established in the Republic of Croatia must keep a copy of the Declaration of Conformity for a period of ten years after the last product has been manufactured.
- When neither the manufacturer nor his authorized representative is registered in the Republic of Croatia, the importer is obliged to provide technical documentation.
- Instructions for use, installation and maintenance, Type-examination certificate and Declaration of Conformity must be in Croatian.
